The Constitution: A Banner of Freedom
One of the most rewarding Constitution Week events is the annual Student Art and Essay Contest. Gilbert students submit their original artwork and written essays, based on a theme related to the United States Constitution. Winners are awarded cash scholarships and other prizes.
This event helps students learn more about American History through research and creativity.

Winning entries will be displayed at the Constitution Fair on Saturday, September 17th
Download the entry form and turn in to your teacher by Thursday, 9/9/2015. Remember to include your name, grade, school and phone number.

Elementary (4-6): one page, can be hand written. Jr. High, High School: 3 pages, typed 12 pt., double spaced, 1” margin. All submissions will be returned to contestants. Constitution Week USA reserves the right to use photographs of art, text of essay’s or copies of digital projects for advertising or other public relations use.
