Celebrating its 10th season, Millennial™ Choirs & Orchestras (MCO) consists of over 3,000 participants in Arizona, California, Utah, Idaho, and Texas! Each MCO locale houses choirs for children, youth, and adults, and a symphony orchestra, all comprised of accomplished volunteer singers and instrumentalists.
In March of 2013 MCO was invited to perform at the National Conference of the American Choral Directors Association in Dallas, Texas. MCO was founded in 2007 for the purpose of teaching and encouraging excellence in quality sacred and classical music. Its primary purpose is to fulfill the need for more refined music education in our communities, with a focus on God and country.
MCO has released four albums: That Easter Morn (2009); Messiah in America (2011), which debuted at #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Traditional Classical chart; O Holy Night (2012), landing in the top 10 of Billboard’s Traditional Classical chart for 7 weeks in a row, and To Be American (2014), also debuting at #1 on Billboard. In June of this year MCO participants toured to Washington, D.C. where they recorded MCO’s 5th album, expected to release this fall.
